Welcome to Dr. Apollo’s School of Cheap Theatrical Fortune Telling™!

Dr. Apollo is the creation of the one and only Rachel Pollack, author, artist, and human extraordinaire.

If you’ve had the pleasure of doing this exercise in one of Rachel’s classes, you know what fun it is.  If you haven’t – now is your chance!

Rachel first envisioned this exercise as a means to help readers get out of the purely psychological insight approach to reading Tarot.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that – it’s helped countless people over the years, and is a valuable technique for working with the cards.

However, inspired by countless bad movie fortune tellers, carnival psychics, and other less mainstream Tarot practitioners, Rachel created the character of Dr. Apollo and her school.
